Health and Safety

Recent tightening of health and safety legislation regarding work at height which also affect building owners and facility managers means it is of the utmost importance that you choose a professional window cleaner that respects health and safety law.

In line with the requirements of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, and the Working at Height Regulations 2005, it is our standard practice to carry out a fully documented risk assessment and method statement of the works involved. Not all window cleaners in London carry out this legal procedure. Read our Health and Safety Policy.

Window cleaning of tall buildings is no problem. We are fully trained and insured for all kinds of access work including window cleaning cradles, abseiling rope access, eye-bolt harness work, mobile elevated work platforms (cherry pickers, boom lifts and scissor lifts), and of course ladders where necessary.

Risk assessment findings usually determine that the safest and most efficient way to clean the external windows of a building up to a maximum height of 60 feet, is by using the now widely accepted industry standard of water fed pole pure water technology. This means that we can clean the windows safely and effectively without the dangers involved in climbing ladders.
